Bright, spacious, apartment - high ceilings & warm colours welcome you in the hall and throughout the apartment. City centre location, 3 minutes walk from O'Connell Street (The Spire/GPO/DublinBike stations/buses & trams) with full use of all spaces living-room/bathroom/kitchen & as much Nespresso coffee as you can drink! There are also multi-USB outlets (x8) to charge phones/devices that charge via USB cable, high speed internet via WI-FI and multi-channel cable TV with sports/movies etc. The apartment is located in a secure complex, but despite it's proximity to the centre it is very quiet at night as it does not face on to the street. The location is hard to beat, in the heart of the real Dublin, close to all major transport hubs & with easy access to the airport. You can walk everywhere in the centre! It's close to Temple Bar, but far enough away to escape the party zone when you are ready to sleep! There are plenty of other places to go & see, so I recommend you only go to Temple Bar during the day for a walk around and save your money for other, more genuine, less touristy surrounding places that will offer better value for money and more genuine food, drink, fun (craic!)

I have traveled extensively and always enjoyed meeting new people and having new experiences. When I am not traveling myself I like the world to come and visit my city. I happy happy to offer tips on where to go/what to see depending on guests preferences.

The neighbourhood will forever be associated with The 1916 Easter Rising - a highly significant moment in the history of the struggle for Irish independence. Recently a lot of traditional Georgian properties have been updated & restored, while apartments & student accommodation have been constructed, adding to the vibrancy of the area. The history is reflected in the location of interactive multi-media exhibitions commemorating the 1916 Rising and the Famine/mass emigration of the 1840s in the area. More recently there has been an influx of immigrants to serve the requirements of the European headquarters or call centres of many multinational companies based in Dublin, such as AirBnB, Facebook, Google etc., bringing great diversity to the area. The apartment is located in east Chinatown, although there are also Vietnamese, Korean, Thai & even Indian influences. There are also many Europeans, South Americans (especially Brazilians) and Africans based in and around the area, all of which makes for a lively and exciting vibe on the streets as these cultures converge and contribute to continuing evolution and enrichment of the existing Dub-Culture!
