Enjoy an entire floor of our Victorian house in the old town of Lewes - with huge bathroom, slipper bath and walk in shower. Ponder life's meaning in the bay window-seat, with a view to the ridge of the south downs. The room is suitable to for families and can accommodate up to 4 We are a vegetarian house hold, and serve homemade bread, croissant, tropical fruit, yoghurt and honey in the mornings - brought to your room and served at your own dining table to enjoy at your leisure. There is free on street parking on Saturday and Sunday (permits can be provided for week days at no additional cost). There is also a car park opposite which costs one pound all day on Saturday and is free on Sunday (during the week it is usually very busy and has an hourly charge).

We are a friendly family and enjoy meeting new people - and being of service to them - we are eager to help augment any plans you already have with a bit more local knowledge - but only if it's welcome. I am fairly active, we have bikes, advice on walking routes and events in Lewes and around East Sussex. If you fancy some wild swimming - or a walk along a little known part of the coast - or simply where to park without breaking the bank in Brighton - please ask.

We are fairly central - and in the old part of Lewes, but we are also at the Brighton end - which makes getting there and to the coast - the picturesque way - easy. Fancy a walk on the downs - they begin 10 mins amble away from our house - without walking up an enormous hill and through the whole town. Getting into town takes you on a history trip through the High Street, past Paine house, and the castle and the court then tumbling down the steep hill to the river.
