Lakeside Guest House is the first property to be built on the old Goldcroft Farm back in 1935. It is a transformed family home and now offers a relaxing stay with direct access to the RSPB Radipole Lake bird reserve, just a 2 minutes walk. There are good parking facilities and just a 14 minute walk to the beach and to Weymouth Town Centre with pubs and shopping. Lakeside provides freshly baked Homemade bread for breakfast - the 'Lakeside Loaf' which has proved very popular with our Guests and we offer a Full English and also Scandinavian style buffet breakfast. There is a lovely Garden for the Guests to relax in and BarBQ facilities during the summer. There are off road Bicycles to hire and Beach hut facilities. Martin , your Host has grown up at Lakeside and has been a professional Musician for most of his career working all over the world. Martin has been based in Norway for a number of years and speaks Scandinavian and hence the Scandinavian style breakfast where sitting around the kitchen table in the morning is a norm.
