Cilhendre Fawr Farm Cottages are three, 4 star accredited luxury self-catering cottages situated in the beautiful hills behind Swansea near Neath in South Wales. The holiday cottages are located on a non-working farm set in the heart of a woodland trust near Swansea and Neath Port Talbot. The location offers the most spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and the Swansea Valley. The cottages have been renovated to a very high standard and feature many original barn features including beams and inglenook fireplaces with logs supplied during the colder months. The Cottages also have central heating. Each cottage can accommodate up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms. The cottages can be hired together to accommodate up to 18 people. Cottage 3 has facilities for the disabled.

Pontardawe is the nearest village from the cottages, just 2-minute drive away. In Pontardawe, we have restaurants; supermarkets; a swimming pool; golf course; gym; leisure centre and even our own theatre, a wealth of Industrial History that can be explored in the area together with ancient woodlands and serene canal walks. The Cottages are only about 20 minute drive from Swansea City Centre which is situated on the stunning Swansea Bay. Just a mile along this Bay is the pretty village of Mumbles, well worth a visit, and this is also the gateway to Gower, with its many beautiful Blue Flag and award winning beaches - Rhossilli, Three Cliffs Bay and Oxwich

Mountain Bikers Welcome! The Cottages are ideal for Guests who wish to visit the renowned Afan Forest Park (also called Afan Argoed). We have storage facilities for mountain bikes, a laundry room and drying facilities. There are also facilities for washing equipment such as mountain bikes.
