The property is a renovated farmhouse but with traditional style retained, situated in the pretty hillside village of St Paul Lizonne with views overlooking the valley. Ideal for stopover or a few nights stay A self contained B&B suite with the option of a childs cot. Breakfast is served either in the Courtyard or the Salon in the main house depending on the weather. The location is Ideal for walking cycling or just relaxing with plenty of places of interested within reach. In particular the ancient frescoed ceiling of our village church. Guests are always welcome to enjoy a picnic lunch on the pool deck. If you are lucky enough to book in Spring or early summer you may be able to witness the arrival of our feathered and furry guests. For the last four years we have had the pleasure of three new families of Kestrels from nesting to fledge and we have also acted as hosts for a family of Red Squirrels. There is a Birdcam in the nest and this is available on the guests TV.

We have lived St Paul Lizonne for 19 years and 12 years ago we moved to an old farmhouse in the village which we have extensivly renovated and have now opened up a B&B Studio with access directly into the garden and pool area, there are seating and lounging areas and a mini fridge in the room to chill the wine.

St Paul Lizonne is in the Perigord Vert region of the Dordogne within easy reach of Brantome and many other attractions. There is a Spar supermarket and local restaurants within a few minutes drive. Riberac, Verteillac and Aubeterre are only 15 minutes away and we are less than an hour away from Bergerac Airport, pick ups can be arranged if required. There is a cycle hire facility in Riberac.
