As you will see and feel, this is the Avatar of your home, the second most comfortable spot in the world waiting for you to come and relax. This is the perfect spot to spend your holiday all year round with the freshness of air, beauty of nature and close access to different ways to enjoy them. The cottage prices include use of all cottage hospitalities, free use of firewood, wifi connection and cable place for car. There is also sauna at the cottage. The prices do not include bedlinen, towels and the final cleaning. These hospitalities can however be ordered separately in case you wish to make your stay a bit more effortless. A set of bedlinen+towels costs 14,2 euros and the price for final cleaning is 70euros through Rukako service. Avatar itself is decorated with taste, a combination of modern style with the respect for authentic old kelo-wood feeling. A hint of luxury for you if you enjoy harmony around you and a bit of glamour for the party guys 'n' gals. Give it a go, you will fall in love.

We are a family of four who love Ruka and spend as much time as we can here in the closeness of Lapland. We live in a different city and therefore do not take care of the cottage maintenance ourselves but collaborate with Rukako -service in all practical matters. Rukako will be there to help with urgent issues.

Downhill skiers and snowboarders will find ski-bus stop only 100m from the front door. Ski bus is free of charge. Skiers will find the ski tracks no more than 200m away. Rukas nightlife and the Ruka Village is approximately 2,5km away. The beautiful Pyhävaara hill with its walking, snow showing and cycling tracks are approximately 700m from the cottage. Ruka is famous for its nature trails and we do recommend to "take a hike" every now and then to the several wonderful hills near by. In Pyhävaara you will find fireplace with firewood and breath taking sights.
